Renato CiascaRenato Ciasca, director, producer and screenwriter, graduated in Film Studies from FAAP university in Sao Paulo, where he met Beto Brant and started a partnership that has been going on for over 30 years. He participated in the film BELLY UP, filmed in 1995, produced and co-wrote FRIENDLY FIRE (1998) and THE TRESPASSER (2001). In 2005 he produced DELICATE CRIME. Renato Ciasca wrote and directed STRAY DOG in co-direction with Beto Brant in 2007, and “I’D RECEIVE THE WORST NEWS FROM YOUR BEAUTIFUL LIPS” in 2012. Among other films, he produced ACCORDING TO B. SCHIANBERG (2009), directed by Beto Brant and THE SHIP – A TRIP WITH SAO PAULO JAZZ SYMPHONIC (2013), directed by Luiz O. de Santi. In 2015 he produced and distributed BLUE BLOOD by Lírio Ferreira.
