Ana Braga (Producer)
Ana Braga was born in Sao Paulo in 1982. She graduated in 2005 in Social Communication and specialized in Cinematography and Television Techniques. During her academic years, she worked as a director of photography and set photographer. She worked as a DOP for some short films and began to collaborate with brazilian national cinematography. She moved to Italy in 2007 to continue her cinematography studies at the famous Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Realizing that cinematography was not the right path for her, she left the course after a few months to dedicate herself to film production. In 2009 he met Italian producer Daniele Mazzocca, owner of Verdeoro Srl, with whom she began to collaborate in the production of the Brazilian film “Road 47”, by Vicente Ferraz.
From 2010 to 2015, she acted as Head of Development for Verdeoro, specializing in international co-productions between Italy and Latin America. She also worked as production coordinator for the films produced by Verdeoro, including “RIMET: The Incredible Story of the World Cup”, directed by Filippo Macelloni, Lorenzo Garzella and Cesar Meneghetti, a documentary about the true story of the World Cup, an Italian-Argentinian co-production distributed worldwide by Rai Trade, “The Lost World Cup”, a mokumentary about the 1942 World Cup, directed by Lorenzo Garzella and Filippo Macelloni, an Italian-Argentinian co-production in association with Rai Cinema, presented at the Venice Days of the Venice Film Festival 2011, “Road 47”, an Italian-Brazilian-Portuguese co-production directed by Vicente Ferraz and the black commedy “Three Days After”, a film by Daniele Grassetti, in association with Rai Cinema .
In 2018 she met director and producer Ilaria Freccia, and began a collaboration with Fedora Film. The film “Welcome to Loveland”, an Italian-Brazilian co-production directed by Ilaria Freccia, is currently under development, and will be shot in 2021.
